Description
Collagen makes up 70% of the body’s cartilage. This specific peptide powder is formulated to regenerate cartilage by stimulating collagen synthesis directly at the articular cartilage.
How?
Joint Collagen Peptides by Cyto-Matrix uses a unique blend of Type I and Type III bovine peptides called Fortigel®.
Experiments with Fortigel® have demonstrated that these collagen peptides decrease inflammation through the induction of a glycine-mediated inhibition of cytokine release and that they regulate the extracellular matrix to reduce catabolism of joint tissue. These peptides help to counteract wear and tear processes on cartilage tissue and aid in the repair of articular cartilage.
